Our cancellation and refund policy is designed to be fair to both you and the notary professionals on our platform. We want every booking to go smoothly, but we understand plans change.

You may cancel your notary appointment at any time before the scheduled start. The amount refunded depends on how much notice you give:
If a notary cancels your appointment for any reason, you will receive a full automatic refund — no action required on your part. We will also attempt to match you with another available notary in your area at no additional cost. If no suitable replacement is available, you can rebook at your convenience.
You may reschedule your appointment free of charge up to 12 hours before the scheduled time, subject to notary availability. Rescheduling within 12 hours of the appointment is treated as a cancellation and rebooking — the cancellation timeline above applies to the original booking.
The mobile visit fee ($65) covers the notary's travel time and expenses. If you cancel a mobile booking more than 24 hours in advance, both the service fee and the mobile visit fee are fully refunded. If you cancel 12–24 hours in advance, the service fee is 50% refunded but the mobile visit fee is non-refundable. If you cancel less than 12 hours in advance, no portion is refundable.
Witness booking fees ($25 per witness) follow the same cancellation timeline as the main appointment. Witness travel fees ($35 per witness) are non-refundable within 24 hours of the appointment, as the witness has already committed their travel time.
If you experience a problem with the notary service — for example, the notary was unprofessional, arrived significantly late, could not complete the service, or the notarization was performed incorrectly — contact us within 48 hours at [email protected] with a description of the issue. We review each case individually and may issue a partial or full refund at our discretion. We take service quality seriously and investigate all complaints.
All refunds are returned to your original payment method. Credit and debit card refunds typically appear on your statement within 3–5 business days, though some financial institutions may take up to 10 business days. You will receive an email confirmation when your refund is processed. If you have not received your refund after 10 business days, please contact your bank or card issuer first, then reach out to us at [email protected].
If you believe a refund was incorrectly denied or calculated, you may request a review by emailing [email protected] within 30 days of the booking date. Include your booking reference number, a description of the issue, and any supporting documentation. We will review your case and respond within 5 business days.
